The VALDIP project aimed to train diverse skills of journalists and civil society members from the Eastern European countries and Russia and to raise their awareness for migration, diversity, and pluralism. Part of the project were study tours to Kiev, Kramatorsk and Berlin. VALDIP project had 3 objectives: strengthening pluralistic media landscape in Eastern European countries and Russia; increasing awareness and public discussion about migration and its outcomes; promoting tolerance and diversity, and strengthening ethical journalism (media ethics) and journalistic virtues (individual ethics). The project took place in 2018 and was funded by the German Foreign Ministry.
