In Pravdyne Locals Saved Ukrainian Soldiers during the Occupation<\/b><\/p>

The video highlights the story of the residents of<\/span> the village of Pravdyne in the Kherson region, who survived eight months of occupation and two terrible battles in the middle of the village.<\/span><\/p>

Risking their own lives, they saved three wounded Ukrainian soldiers from the Russians. Local residents Lyudmyla Avramenko (a doctor) and Sofia Bila talk about the beginning of the offensive. On that day, they found the first wounded Ukrainian soldier and hid him from the occupiers. While Lyudmyla was helping a wounded Ukrainian soldier, soldiers of the enemy army were looking for him in the village. The next day, locals found two more Ukrainian defenders. The soldiers were hidden in a cellar.<\/span><\/p>

Residents of the village say that those soldiers whom they could not hide died. The occupiers did not allow the wounded to be treated. Also, \u201cKadyrov\u201d soldiers went around the village and searched every house.<\/span><\/p>

Sofia said that her and her husband\u2019s house were occupied by the invaders. The entrance door still had traces of machine gun fire. But despite everything, the couple managed to hide and even outsmart the Russian occupiers and take three Ukrainian soldiers from the occupied part to the territory controlled by Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>

Later, after the deoccupation of the village, the rescued and healthy soldiers came to visit the locals to thank them for saving their lives.<\/span><\/p>
