Chaplain Lyudmyla Marfin supports Ukrainian soldiers with food, camouflage nets and medicine.<\/b><\/p>

Lyudmyla Marfin is 52 years old. She and her husband Ivan celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary this year. The Marfins gave birth to five children of their own, and also became parents to thirty-seven children deprived of their fate. Today there are forty-one children in their family.<\/span><\/p>

Before the full-scale war, Lyudmyla and her family lived in the Dnipro region. Their first adopted children, sons, are now in the army.<\/span><\/p>

Since 2017, Lyudmyla has been studying at a theological seminary in the spiritual care educational specialization; she chose it because she is raising children from different families with difficult or traumatizing experiences.<\/span><\/p>

Lyudmyla has been in the chaplaincy since 2018. She started at the psychiatric high security hospital in the city of Dnipro. It is the only one in Ukraine, people are held there for committing serious crimes.<\/span><\/p>

Currently, Lyudmyla works as a chaplain for two organizations \u2013 the International Association of Professional Chaplains of Ukraine \u201cUkrainian Chaplaincy\u201d and the public formation \u201cChaplain Patrol\u201d.<\/span><\/p>

Lyudmyla used to work for the front before the full-scale invasion. Together with her children, she wove camouflage nets, and after the invasion in 2022, together with her husband, they themselves began to actively volunteer and transport food, camouflage nets and medicine to the soldiers. Subsequently, she began to conduct group training, etc., with the military.<\/span><\/p>

The family\/work balance is extremely difficult. In addition to everything, Lyudmyla is still studying for a master\u2019s degree in biblical pastoral care.<\/span><\/p>

Morning and evening walks with the Bible help Lyudmyla to restore her personal mental balance.<\/span><\/p>

Lyudmyla Marfin ist 52 Jahre alt. Sie und ihr Ehemann Ivan feierten in diesem Jahr ihren 34. Hochzeitstag. Die Marfins haben f\u00fcnf eigene Kinder und sind auch Eltern von siebenunddrei\u00dfig vom Schicksal gezeichneten Kindern. Heute leben einundvierzig Kinder in ihrer Familie.<\/span><\/p>

Vor Kriegsausbruch lebten sie mit ihrer Familie in der Region Dnipro. Die ersten Adoptivs\u00f6hne dienen derzeit in der Armee. Seit 2017 absolviert Lyudmyla eine Ausbildung als seelische Betreuerin im theologischen Seminar, da sie Kinder aus verschiedenen Familien erzieht, die schwierige oder traumatische Schicksale haben.<\/span><\/p>

Sie ist seit 2018 im Kaplansamt t\u00e4tig. Sie begann in einem psychiatrischen Hochsicherheitskrankenhaus in der Stadt Dnipro. Es ist die einzige in der Ukraine, werden dort Menschen wegen schwerer Verbrechen festgehalten.<\/span><\/p>

Heute arbeitet Lyudmyla Marfin als Kaplanin f\u00fcr zwei Organisationen: die Internationale Vereinigung der Berufsseelsorger der Ukraine “Ukrainische Seelsorge” und die \u00f6ffentliche Organisation “Kaplan Patrol”.<\/span><\/p>

Lyudmyla Marfin arbeitete schon vor der gro\u00dfen Invasion an der Front. Zusammen mit den Kindern fertigte sie Tarnnetze an. Nach der Invasion im Jahr 2022 begannen sie und ihr Mann, aktiv als Freiwillige zu arbeiten. Sie lieferten den Soldaten Nahrung, Tarnnetze und Medikamente. Sp\u00e4ter begann sie, Gruppenschulungen mit dem Milit\u00e4r durchzuf\u00fchren.<\/span><\/p>

Die Balance zwischen Familie und Arbeit ist au\u00dferordentlich schwierig. Zus\u00e4tzlich zu ihrer Arbeit absolviert Lyudmyla ein Masterstudium im Fach Biblische Seelsorge. Spazierg\u00e4nge mit der Bibel morgens und abends helfen Lyudmyla, ihre pers\u00f6nliche, seelische Balance wiederherzustellen.<\/span><\/p><\/div>

Ludmila wsp\u00f3\u0142pracowa\u0142a z jednostkami wojskowymi na froncie wschodnim jeszcze przed rozpocz\u0119ciem si\u0119 pe\u0142noskalowej inwazji. Wraz z dzie\u0107mi plot\u0142a siatki maskuj\u0105ce, a po inwazji w 2022 roku wraz z m\u0119\u017cem zacz\u0119\u0142a aktywnie dzia\u0142a\u0107 jako wolontariuszka i dostarcza\u0107 wojsku \u017cywno\u015b\u0107, siatki i leki.
